GLC Families,
Each year we rely heavily on our volunteers to help create a optimal setting for our players, please consider volunteering as a coach or a team manager.
Coaching - All coaches are required by USA Lacrosse to become either Silver or Bronze certified. The certification process takes anywhere from 1.5 - 3 hours to complete (online training). The club will support individuals through the process and reimburse all fees. Typical weekly commitment is 5-6 hours a week (3 hrs of practice, 2 hrs games). The more coaches we have, the more flexibility.
Team Managers - Required for 2025, each team will require 1 team manager assigned to help with communications, scheduling updates and coordination. They will work closely with the team coaches to ensure families are kept up to speed on activities and updates. Commitment ranges from 2-3 hrs per week.
